Credit and Debit Cards

VUTS LLC accepts all major credit and debit cards through Stripe’s secure payment gateway. The following card networks are supported:

Visa: All Visa credit, debit, and prepaid cards are accepted. Visa is accepted at millions of merchants worldwide and offers various protections for cardholders, including zero liability for unauthorized transactions.

Mastercard: All Mastercard credit, debit, and prepaid cards are accepted. Mastercard provides similar protections to Visa, including fraud monitoring and dispute resolution services.

When you pay with a credit or debit card at VUTS LLC, your card information is encrypted and transmitted directly to Stripe’s secure servers. We never store your full card number on our own systems, reducing the risk of data breaches and unauthorized access.

Apple Pay

For customers using Apple devices, VUTS LLC proudly accepts Apple Pay as a payment method. Apple Pay provides a fast, secure, and private way to pay using the devices you already carry with you every day.

How Apple Pay Works: When you choose Apple Pay at checkout, your payment information is transmitted using near-field communication (NFC) technology or through your device’s secure element. Your actual card number is never shared with the merchant or stored on Apple’s servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted, and securely stored in the Secure Element on your device.

Security Features: Apple Pay requires authentication using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode before any payment can be completed. This ensures that even if your device is lost or stolen, your payment information remains protected. Additionally, Apple Pay does not store transaction information that can be tied back to you, preserving your privacy.

Device Compatibility: Apple Pay works with iPhone (including Apple Watch when paired), iPad, and Mac computers with Touch ID. For Mac computers without Touch ID, you can complete payment using your paired iPhone or Apple Watch.

Google Pay

For customers using Android devices, VUTS LLC accepts Google Pay as a payment method. Google Pay offers similar convenience and security to Apple Pay, with broad compatibility across the Android ecosystem.

How Google Pay Works: Google Pay stores your payment information securely and transmits it using tokenization technology. When you make a payment, a virtual account number (token) is used instead of your actual card number, protecting your sensitive information.

Security Features: Google Pay requires authentication using your device’s screen lock security (PIN, pattern, password, or biometric authentication) before any payment can be completed. Google Pay also allows you to remotely lock or wipe your device if it is lost or stolen, preventing unauthorized access to your payment information.

Device Compatibility: Google Pay works on any Android device running Android Lollipop (5.0) or higher, as well as on Chrome OS devices and Wear OS smartwatches. The service is available in countries around the world and continues to expand its geographic coverage.

The Payment Process at VUTS LLC

Step 1: Selecting Your Payment Method

When you proceed to checkout on our website, you will be presented with payment method options. Select the method that works best for you based on your preferences and available payment instruments.

Step 2: Entering Payment Information

Depending on your selected payment method, you will either enter your payment information directly on our secure checkout page or be redirected to your digital wallet for authentication. For credit and debit card payments, you will need to provide:

  • Card number

  • Expiration date

  • CVV/CVC security code (the three or four digit code on the back or front of your card)

  • Billing address (for address verification)

For Apple Pay and Google Pay, the authentication process occurs on your device, and your payment information is transmitted without manual entry.

Step 3: Transaction Authorization

Once you submit your payment information, Stripe communicates with your card issuer or digital wallet provider to authorize the transaction. This process typically takes just a few seconds. During this time, please do not refresh your browser or navigate away from the checkout page.

Step 4: Order Confirmation

When your payment is successfully authorized, you will receive an order confirmation page and an email confirmation. This confirmation includes your order number, a summary of your purchase, and tracking information once your order ships.

Step 5: Payment Settlement

After your order ships, the authorized transaction is settled, and the funds are transferred from your account to VUTS LLC. For most credit and debit cards, this settlement occurs within one to three business days of shipment.

Payment Security

Encryption Technology

All payment information transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology, the same standard used by banks and financial institutions worldwide. This encryption ensures that your payment information cannot be intercepted or read by unauthorized third parties during transmission.

Tokenization

When you save payment information for future purchases (if you choose to do so), Stripe replaces your actual card number with a unique digital token. This token can be used for future transactions but cannot be reverse-engineered to reveal your actual card number. Even if our systems were compromised, your payment information would remain protected.

Address Verification Service

Stripe uses Address Verification Service (AVS) to compare the billing address you provide with the address on file with your card issuer. Mismatches may result in transaction declines, protecting you from unauthorized use of your card.

CVV Verification

All credit and debit card transactions require the CVV/CVC security code, which is not stored after the transaction is complete. This requirement ensures that someone who has your card number but not the physical card cannot complete a transaction.

3D Secure Authentication

For certain transactions, Stripe may require additional authentication through 3D Secure (Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode, American Express SafeKey). This authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring you to verify your identity through your card issuer, typically via text message, email, or your banking app.

Refund and Chargeback Process

Refunds

When you return a product according to our Refund and Return Policy, we process refunds through Stripe. The refund is credited back to your original payment method. For credit and debit card refunds, the funds typically appear on your statement within three to ten business days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

For Apple Pay and Google Pay refunds, the funds are returned to the same digital wallet and card used for the original purchase. You do not need to take any additional action to receive your refund.

Chargebacks

If you believe a transaction on your statement is unauthorized or incorrect, you have the right to dispute the charge with your card issuer. This process is called a chargeback. Many issues can be resolved more quickly through direct communication than through the chargeback process.

If you initiate a chargeback, Stripe will notify us, and we will have the opportunity to respond with evidence that the transaction was legitimate and authorized. The card issuer makes the final determination based on the evidence provided by both parties.

Payment Issues and Troubleshooting

Declined Transactions

If your payment is declined, you will receive an error message indicating the reason. Common reasons for declines include:

  • Insufficient funds in your account

  • Incorrect card number, expiration date, or CVV code

  • Billing address mismatch

  • Card issuer fraud prevention block

  • Card expired or inactive

  • Daily or transaction limit exceeded

If your payment is declined, please verify your information and try again. If the issue persists, contact your card issuer or digital wallet provider for assistance before trying a different payment method.

Currency and International Payments

VUTS LLC processes all transactions in United States Dollars (USD). If you are an international customer paying with a card denominated in another currency, your card issuer will convert the transaction amount using their current exchange rate. The converted amount appearing on your statement may differ slightly from the USD amount due to exchange rate fluctuations and any foreign transaction fees your card issuer may apply.

Sales Tax

VUTS LLC collects sales tax on orders shipped to addresses within the United States as required by applicable laws. The tax amount is calculated based on the shipping address and the tax rates in effect at that location. Sales tax is displayed at checkout before you complete your payment.

For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by your country. These fees are not collected by VUTS LLC and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.
